Restaurant Messaging — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Noah Reicin d/b/a TableTalk (“TableTalk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information related to our restaurant-only messaging program (the “Program”). This Policy applies solely to the Program and does not modify other TableTalk privacy policies.
1. Information We Collect
- Authorized contact details: staff names, roles, mobile numbers, optional email addresses.
- Message metadata: timestamps, routing data, delivery confirmations, and carrier logs.
- Operational context: order, reservation, or call data needed to generate notifications.
- Consent records: opt-in/opt-out timestamps, consent source, and IP/user ID if applicable.
TableTalk does not collect end-customer phone numbers. Please do not transmit sensitive data such as payment information, government IDs, or PHI via text.
2. How We Use Information
- To send and manage messages to authorized restaurant staff.
- To maintain consent and opt-out records for compliance and auditing.
- To monitor delivery performance and prevent system abuse.
- To send limited administrative notifications with the restaurant’s consent.
3. Sharing with Service Providers
We share limited data with trusted vendors that operate or support the Program, such as Twilio (for SMS/MMS delivery) and cloud hosting providers. These vendors act under data protection agreements and cannot sell or rent your data.
4. Legal Disclosures
We may disclose information as required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.
5. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for operational, legal, or audit purposes. After that, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
